    Ive got a suggestion, is it possible to make sageing bump a thread down so as to make it actually effective rather than a mute protest?

    Then effectively the whole site would mod itself.

    I am not actually familiar with how this works here because nobody ever sages anything, but i was assuming its the same here as it is everywhere else.

      Well the option should be given whether to bump, not bump, or bump down. Also a limit on how many times a single person can sage a thread would keep people from bombing legit threads.

      Also, one thing I forgot to mention that I dislike about the way the tagging system turned out is that there’s a lot of fucking porn. Because the entire site is user driven there’s really nothing I can do about it. But Christ, there’s porn and hentai everywhere.

    Sorry for the 2-3 days of downtime. I finally moved to a more different, more cheaper VPS with better features. Had to re-setup everything once more, troubleshoot, etc.

    Still working on porting the boards to Merb framework and adding new features.

    Crossposting this to straight_shota/ because that’s all people care about anymore.

    For some reason this past month we’ve nearly reached my bandwidth limit, which is 100GB. This is not good as I start to get charged once I go over that, and I am fairly broke and cannot afford that shit.

    As such I will be moving from slicehost to a more different VPS provider (linode) with slightly more resources that costs about the same price. This means at some point within the next 1-3 days the site will be down (AGAIN!) so that I can set things up from scratch once more.

      Presumably not. I will be copying the files/database from this VPS to the next.

      Of course I am a clumsy guy, and there’s always a possibility I lose everything on the fileserver or everything in the database, in which case you would have to start from scratch.
